My Blog Crush!

It's time I came clean...
My Name is Bunny Jean
and I have blog crush.
There, I've said it!

There is a blog that I turn to for inspiration.

I was lucky to find this blog early on.
This blog has BEAUTIFUL photos.
It also has a wonderful storyline
that always made me feel calm...

So when I was feeling
adrift and out of control,
Brenda always knew what to say.
She didn't know it ...
but she was talking to ME.

I guess I not only have BLOG ENVY,
I actually have a "girl crush"
On Brenda... yes I do!

Well it just so happens that
Brenda is human too.
She has her ups and downs
just like the rest of us.

Recently she has been going through
a difficult "adjustment" so to speak.
But one thing sure is that she
will adjust with time.

She may now be feeling a bit
like a lost child... again.
I know how those memories can
pop up during trying times.

But I hope she looks forward
and can see her possibilities.

I am confident that she will rise
above her situation and be
stronger  because of it.

She will do this for herself...
and still be and inspiration
for the rest of us!

Thank you Brenda
for just being you...
and sharing.

XOXO

Feeling a little "dumped on"?

I'M BACK!!!

I've been away for quite awhile,

I think I was feeling a little like this donkey...

~~~~~~~~~~~~
One day a farmer's donkey fell down into a well.
The donkey cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do. Finally, he decided the animal was old, and the well needed to be covered up anyway; it just wasn't worth it to retrieve the donkey.
He invited his neighbors to come over and help him. They each grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well. At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to everyone's amazement he quieted down.
A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well. He was astonished at what he saw. With each shovel of dirt that hit his back, the donkey was doing something amazing. He would shake it off and take a step up.
As the farmer and his neighbors continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up. Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and happily trotted off!
Life is going to shovel dirt on you, lots of dirt!
The trick to getting along well is to shake it off and take a step up. Each of our troubles is a stepping stone. We can get out of the deepest wells just by not stopping, never giving up!
Shake it off and take a step up.
The 5 simple rules to being happy:
1.Free your heart from hatred - Forgive.
2.Free your mind from worries - Most never happen.
3.Live simply and appreciate what you have.
4.Give more.
5.Expect less
NOW . . . the donkey had the last laugh . . .
The donkey later came back and bit the heck out of the farmer. The gashes from the bites became severely infected, and the farmer eventually died in extreme agony from septic shock.
MORAL FROM TODAY'S LESSON:
When you do something wrong and try to cover your ass,
it always comes right back to bite you !!
I have missed all of you.
I hope to get back to blogging.
I have started another blog called Inspirations
where I want to use to feature other bloggers.
Let me know if you are interested.
Hope you all have a great weekend!
It's been 114 degrees here in the desert for the last few days,
but the weekend is looking good as it should only get
up to 108-110 degrees.
